Welcome to the 16U/18U Program at HAWPC β one of the oldest and most respected water polo clubs in North America! We are committed to building strong, confident young athletes.
π About the Program
Both our 16U and 18U Women's Programs will compete in the NCL along with tournaments on OPL loop. Weβre excited to kick off our 2025/2026 Season with a special training camp with our friends from McMaster starting September 7th 2025. Regular Season Practice Schedule begins September 14th, 2025. Athletes train 4x & 5X per week with a flexible schedule which combines, swimming, skills tactics and fitness.
This year our 18U athletes will be training with Mac throughout the season. Parents and Athletes will note an increased connection between us and the university throughout the year.

π Athletes training 5x/week are on a high-performance path and expected to commit fully to all sessions.
Additional Costs:
NCL League Fees (billed separately):
Approx. $600 for 16U athletes
Approx. $800 for 18U athletes
All other invitational tournaments (e.g., Forest City, Alberta Open, Mavs Cup) will be billed separately as they are confirmed.
π€ Volunteer & Communication Commitment
New this season: All high school-aged athletes (16U & 18U) are required to contribute 10 hours of service to the club. This encourages leadership, team ownership, and early exposure to coaching and officiating roles.
β How to Complete Volunteer Hours:
Help with Bring-a-Friend Days, Swim & Play Ball, 10U/12U Tournaments, etc.
Assist with equipment setup, transport, or event logistics
Support club outreach or communications
